Privacy policy

1. Data controller

The data controller is Immorio, Alger, Algérie. For any question about your data: dhiachabane@yahoo.fr.

2. Data we collect

• Account: phone number (required), name and email address (optional), preferred language.
• Listings: description, price, area, location (wilaya, commune, address or map point), photos and the contact details displayed.
• Usage: favorites and the private notes you add to them, listings you hide, saved searches and alerts (with their frequency and channel: a notification on your devices, WhatsApp, SMS or email; for notifications, the technical address your browser gives us, deleted when you turn them off or sign out; the same for price drops on your favorites), estimates requested. Every alert email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
• Shared collections: the collections you create or join, your role, the listings you add to them and your comments.
• Saved places: the places you name (work, school, family…) and their position, for travel-time search. Routes are worked out on our own routing server: your position is not sent to any third-party service.
• Sale prices: if you give the final price when marking your property sold, it stays private. If you agree to share it, it only counts, without your name or the listing, in the area’s “recorded sale price” medians (published from 5 sales).
• Renter profile: if you fill it in, your occupation, an income band, household size, whether you have a guarantor, your move-in date, a free note and your supporting documents (stored privately, opened only through a temporary link), plus your moving checklist. Only the landlords or agencies you attach it to can see it, until you withdraw access. No score is computed from it.
• Contacts: clicks on "Call" / "WhatsApp" and messages sent to an advertiser, with the contact details you enter.
• Valuation requests to agencies: the property you describe, your name and phone number, sent only to the agencies (3 at most) you pick, with your consent.
• Prospecting: if you tick "be contacted by agencies" on a saved estimate, agencies in the wilaya see the property (type, area, rooms, commune) and the estimate, without your contact details, for 90 days. At most 3 agencies can get your name and phone number; you see which ones under "Estimates" and can withdraw at any time (agencies already served keep the contact they received).
• My home: if you follow a property you own, its description (type, area, rooms, floor, condition, commune, map point if you place one) and its estimated value each month. Nothing is shown to anyone else. If you agree, you receive its estimated value once a month by WhatsApp or SMS.
• Financing requests: from the credit simulator, when you are signed in and agree, the target price, your down payment, the maximum monthly payment, the term, an income band, the wilaya (optional), your name, your phone and a free note, sent only to the banks you pick. They are in your data export and are deleted with your account.
• Visits: the visits you book or propose (date, in person or by video, your note), your visiting hours if you receive visitors, and your visit itineraries. The seller sees your name and phone. A reminder is sent the day before by WhatsApp, SMS or email. Video visits use Jitsi Meet (meet.jit.si), with no account; Immorio does not record calls.
• Security: login codes (stored only in hashed form and expiring within minutes), IP address and technical logs.

We collect no sensitive data within the meaning of Law 18-07 and never ask for your bank details on the site.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Providing the service (account, posting, search, putting users in contact) — performance of the terms of use.
• Authenticating users, preventing fraud and abuse, moderating listings — legitimate interest and service security.
• Sending the alerts you created — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• Producing statistics and the price index — from aggregated, anonymised data.
• Meeting legal obligations and requests from authorised authorities.

4. Who receives your data

Your data is never sold. It is available to:

• other users, for the public content of your listings and the contact number you choose to display;
• members of a shared collection (the people you send the invite link to, or who sent it to you): your name, the listings you add and your comments, never your number;
• authorised Immorio staff (support, moderation);
• our technical providers, strictly for their task: SMS operator and WhatsApp (Meta) to send codes and alerts, Resend for emails, hosting and photo storage;
• authorities, where the law requires it.

Maps are drawn from OpenStreetMap tiles: your browser contacts those servers, which receive your IP address.

5. Transfers outside Algeria

Some providers (hosting, WhatsApp messaging) may process data outside Algeria. Such transfers only take place under the conditions set by Law 18-07, including authorisation from the National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data (ANPDP) where required.

6. Retention periods

• Account: while active; deleted within 30 days of closure, unless the law requires otherwise.
• Favorites and their notes, hidden listings, saved searches: until you delete them, and at the latest with the account.
• Shared collections: when the account is deleted, your comments and memberships are erased; a collection you created passes to its longest-standing other member (listings you added stay, without your name), or is deleted if nobody else uses it.
• Saved places: until you delete them, and at the latest with the account.
• Sale prices: with the listing, so at the latest with the account.
• My home: until you stop following the property, and at the latest with the account.
• Visits: with the listing's conversation; hours and itineraries until you delete them, and at the latest with the account.
• Renter profile and documents: until you delete them from your account area, and at the latest with the account.
• Listings: while published, then 12 months after archiving (disputes, duplicate detection).
• Contact requests: 24 months.
• Login codes: a few minutes (single use).
• Technical and security logs: 12 months.

7. Cookies

Immorio only uses strictly necessary cookies. No advertising or analytics cookies are set, so no consent is required.

8. Security

Traffic is encrypted (HTTPS), session cookies cannot be read by JavaScript, login codes are stored hashed and access to data is limited to authorised staff.

9. Your rights

Under Law 18-07 you have the rights of information, access, rectification and objection, and the right to withdraw your consent. You can edit your information from your account area, download a copy of your data there (profile, favorites, searches, collections and comments, saved places, sale prices you gave, renter profile, followed homes, visiting hours and itineraries) and close your account at any time.

To exercise your rights, write to dhiachabane@yahoo.fr from the number or address linked to your account. We reply within one month. You may also contact the ANPDP.

10. Minors

The service is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect data about minors.
